Paulaner Original Münchner Urtyp
Description:
Paulaner Original Münchner Urtyp is brilliant gold in
colour. Beer connoisseurs very much appreciate its full, smooth
body, and abundant flavor.
Distinctions:
In Germany, Paulaner Original Münchner Urtyp belongs to
the segment of so-called export beers. These beers are traditionally
brewed stronger than the normal lager beers, since stronger
beers better withstand longer shipping routes. This aspect was
especially important when wooden barrels were used for beer.
Wood could not protect the quality of the beer as well as the
modern kegs used today.
Brewing facts:
Brewed all-naturally. Bottom-fermented, with Paulaner's exclusive
yeast, light barley malt and fine aromatic hops from the Bavarian
Hallertau. 12,5% original wort, 5,5% alcohol by volume.
Serving suggestions:
Paulaner Original Münchner Urtyp tastes best when served
in the traditional glass mug. It is best accompanied by hearty
meat dishes, sausages, pizza or cold plates with ham, salami
or cheese.
