Paulaner Salvator
Description:
In Germany, Paulaner Salvator is the origin of the double-bock
style. Salvator is strong, has a pronounced malt aroma, and
is easily recognized by it's red-brown color. Salvator's flavor
is the perfect marriage of hops and salt.
Distinctions:
Paulaner Salvator is a distincitively full-bodied, hearty beer
- is is "liquid bread" as the monks created 360 years
ago. Salvator is the founding father of Paulaner's famous styles
of beer and Munich's strong beers.
Brewing facts:
Bottom-fermented, with yeast from Paulaner's exclusive cultures,
dark barley malt and aromatic hops. 18,3% original wort, 7,5%
alcohol by volume.
Serving
suggestions:
Salvator's rich aroma and flavor develops best when served
in traditional stone tankards. The ideal drinking temperature
is between 6 C and 9 C. Paulaner Salvator is especially recommended
for hearty meals, red meats and game, and with dark chocolate
desserts.
